SIGMA ha appena presentato il nuovo, superluminoso SIGMA 50/1.2 DG DN Art che, oltre a vantare prestazioni di altissimo livello, è anche il più compatto e leggero 50/1.2 attualmente in produzione. L’obiettivo al momento è disponibile solo per fotocamere mirrorless full frame E-Mount e L-Mount.

The SIGMA 50/1.2 DG DN Art is an excellent lens exclusively designed for the mirrorless camera system L-Mount and E-Mount, even better of its legendary brother SIGMA 50/1.4 DG DN Art. It’s very sharp from the center of the image to the corners even at F/1.2 and has a very clean and smooth bokeh effect. I really like the attention of Sigma for the final rendering of the images that remind me always more the “German School” of old times (Zeiss, Leitz…) that I loved so much. Thanks the most modern technologies, it has about the same weight and size of the SIGMA 50/1.4 and it means that it’s very small a compact for a F1.2 and it is actually the lightest in its class. The lens is very well corrected for all aberrations and becomes perfect thanks to in-camera corrections. In addition to image quality, the new SIGMA 50/1.2 DG DN Art also offers faster and quieter AF thanks to the linear motor HLA and lightweight focus group, internal focus (with two floating focusing groups of lens for high optical performance even at close distance) and the ability to lock/unlock the aperture clicks, functions that will be very appreciated by videomakers. The F1.2 maximum aperture allows photographers to take advantage of the large bokeh effect and to shoot handheld as in all the photos that you can see in this article. A lens that is going to be a point of reference in its category, perfect for the professional photographers and users who want to take their photography one step above the current level.
